Welcome to THC Online

The Tropical Havanese Club is a regional specialty club founded in 2002 under the umbrella of our AKC parent club, the Havanese Club of America.

THC's goal is to welcome and educate all Havanese owners and anyone who wants to know more about this wonderful breed, promote the breeding of healthy purebred Havanese and do everything possible to bring to perfection their natural qualities.

We want to encourage members, breeders and judges to accept the standard of the breed, as approved by the Havanese Club of America, and the American Kennel Club, as the only standard of excellence by which the Havanese shall be judged.

We shall do everything in our power to protect and advance the interests of the Havanese breed by encouraging sportsman-like competition at any and all competition events. We will continue to sponsor Health Clinics, Fun Days, as well as other "Hav Happenings", so all our members, both pet and show people alike, will feel welcome and can be active and involved in our club.

We will be adding more content to this site as the club develops, with news about club events, health issues, pictures, and more! Please check back with us often. Don't forget to send us those pictures of your Havanese and if you are planning a "Hav Happening" let us know so we can post it.
